Learn how to care for honeybees in our Beginning Beekeeping class. We welcome beginning beekeepers as well as persons who are just exploring and wanting to learn.

Bees provide a pollination service to their immediate neighborhood and also can reward their keepers with delicious honey.

The Spring class sessions, aim to help participants become more comfortable with these insects. We can help you decide if beekeeping is right for you. With our hands-on instruction, at an apiary site, you will learn the basics of managing a bee colony. Course is 6 sessions, starting in February.

The Fall class sessions accomplish the same goals, but in a compacted time frame. We will mostly be indoors. Honey extraction demo. Course is 6 sessions.

Upon Receipt of your registration form, an invoice will be sent to you requesting payment via Paypal. Once funds have been transferred, a class syllabus will be emailed to the address on file.
